PRAISE for a good Annual Meeting of the Board of Grace Mission.  Please PRAY as we implement plans to move forward with the ministry in Haiti, to God’s glory.  Pastor Beril reported a total of 135 people saved in the churches and schools in the month of March, and 54 new believers in the second quarter of 2013.  God is at work!  We value your prayers and support as we seek God’s direction for the various ministries where we are involved in Haiti.

We also had a regional banquet at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, where the Annual Meeting was held.  We had a wonderful chicken barbecue.

Getting Ready        Charles and Darrell (Board Members) rotate the chicken

And then we eat, and eat, and eat…

PRAISE for a new church at Boudari, near Cote de Fer.

And Pastor Telusme reported on a new church plant just getting off the ground up toward Mirebalais.  Information is just coming in now of people being saved, discipled and interested in building a new church.

PRAISE for the commitment of two matching funds of $5,000 each toward the purchase of a new Grace Center vehicle.  We have a way to go, but it is an excellent start.  We need a total of $35,000-$40,000, so please continue to pray for the Lord’s provision of the need.  We have a total of just under $21,000 toward the need.

PRAY for George Callister as he makes plans to visit Haiti several times this year to gather more detailed information on our ministries, and then will be setting up an itinerary to visit churches here in the US to keep you all better informed on the progress God is bringing about as we serve Him.  This will involve trips to as many of our churches in Haiti as possible, including the remote mountain churches.
If your church or small group is interested in having George, or another mission representative visit, please let us know.

PRAY as we anticipate progress in the remaining months in the ministry in 2013.  We face some challenges, but we know God is able to guide and provide.

PRAY as we work to finish Grace Center.  We still need a couple of projects completed, including the landscaping of the property, putting screen on the patios, a meeting pavilion and etc.

PRAY for the need for a Grace Center manager.  Grace Center is partially closed until God provides someone to manage the facility.

PRAY for the needs of Grace Mission, particularly in the area of financial needs.  We face difficult economic times in our country, but God is able to provide.  Please pray for the provision of our needs in Haiti.
